The sacrements are signs of grace, instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ and entrusted to his Holy Church.
In order to fully participate in the sacraments, each person or those acting for the person (ie in baptism) must be personally ready and prepared for the sacrament. A period of preparation and instuction is therefore needed and we run these programmes within our parish. They are normally run by lay persons who have been through the experience themselves.
The obvious exception to this is the annointing of the sick and this can requested for any person themselves or a family member.
